Broadsides and Boarding Parties

                                               Red Blooded Piracy!

A fine night of timber's a-shiver as the
gang sails in for some swashbucklin' buccaneerin'!

The crew gathers  while menace approaches!

It's fast die rolls and swift maneuvering to bring ships into firing position. Here we see the eve's first triumph: Scurvy Captain Cutlass and Commander Grogwell gloating in victory!

Four full rounds well and truly played swayed the cup of win back and forth across rocking decks!

"Broadsides and Boarding Parties" was the unsuccessful third in a trilogy of games released 30 years ago by Milton Bradley. The other 2, "Axis and Allies" & "Conquest of the Empire" were hits and are still available in various forms to this day. "B&B" was a more limited kind of game. Fewer rules, 2 players and a format that was a bit unwieldy. Swabs and cannons tend to slide all over the deck during play. Still, simpler rules make it more suitable for younger gamers and the crew tonight had a whale of a time blasting and tacking their way through a laugh filled eve. Recommended!

"Ahoy! Here be fun for all and one! Yar!"

John Fogarty's Stochastic Clearwater Revival Revival

My mayonnaise is gone.  It wasn't consumed--at least not in the normal fashion, as far as I can recall.  It's just gone.  Not there anymore.  Was it The Cloud?  I think not.  Mayonnaise is non-magnetic.   It doesn't matter. There's no percentage in being a sorehead.  I know this is true because Wally Cleaver said it. Besides, I won a fez.  That makes me special.

The doctor is out...
